成人高考入學(xué)考試常用常用詞匯

在寫信中，時間、地點、活動、交通方式是非常重要的。除了要學(xué)會用英語表達(dá)年月日，還需要知道是星期幾，是上午或者是下午，具體幾點等待。

1、月份：一月January；二月February；三月March；四月Apri；五月May；六月June；七月July；八月August；九月September；十月October；十一月November； 十二月December。

2、星期：星期一Monday；星期二Tuesday；星期三Wednesday；星期四Thursday；星期五Friday；星期六Saturday；星期天Sunday。

3、中文日期：

（1）每月的一號，二號，三號分別是1st, 2nd, 3rd；二十一，二十二，二十三是21st, 22nd, 23rd；三十一是31st；其他的日期只要在數(shù)字后面加th就可以了（包括十二，十三）。

（2）中文我們的使用習(xí)慣是年月日，而英文是日月年或月日年，比如2012.1.30：Jan.31st，2012或者31st，Jan，2012 (具體幾點可直接用阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字表示，如at 8:10)。

（3）表示在哪一年或哪一月用介詞in，例如in 1998 表示在具體某一天用介詞on。

4、活動：picnic：野餐；camp：露營；party：派對；meeting：會議：trip：旅游；travel：旅行；mountain：爬山；English corner：英語角；speech：演講；activity：活動；sports meeting：運(yùn)動會；excise：運(yùn)動；do homework：做家庭作業(yè)：English evening:英語晚會。

5、地點：school：學(xué)校；bus station：公交車站；train station：火車站；subway：地鐵；airport：機(jī)場；classroom：教室；meetingroom：會議室； shool gate：學(xué)校大門；estination：目的地；activity room：活動室； hall：大廳； home：家。

6、交通方式：by bike（騎自行車）；by bus（乘公共汽車）；by car（乘出租車）；by train（乘火車）；by ship（乘輪船）；by plane（乘飛機(jī)）；on foot步行。
